On Wednesday, March 13th 2019 Hoban Students and Faculty "Wore Orange" to raise awareness of the importance of building Healthy Relationships and the Prevention of Dating Violence and Abuse.
With a valiant late game comeback, followed by a strong performance in overtime, the students emerged victorious in this years annual Student/Faculty Basketball game. Did you know that SOCIAL ISOLATION is a growing epidemic in the United States? This week has been designated
nationally as “Start with Hello” week to raise community and school awareness of people who suffer silently because they feel left out, alone or invisible. The most important thing you can do for someone who feels left out is just to reach out and let them know they aren’t alone. Your “Hello” and smile can make a big difference. Hoban Bike Club provides kids and adults non-competitive physical activity in a supportive community atmosphere. All bikes and ability-levels are welcome. Participants will learn about riding etiquette and bike maintenance while exploring trails in Akron and the surrounding area.
